Much like the photos, Katy wanted her logo to compliment the vintage look but still seem modern, as well as dialing in cartoon animals and fruit throughout the album package. The cartoon animals I am showing here didn’t make it into the final package, but they are the ones I like best so I am showing them for illustrative purposes. Anyway, the whole thing ended up with a bright and juicy candy vibe, and I was extremely proud of how it all turned out. We put the strawberry from the CD label on her drummer’s bass drum for her initial tour and I loved the on-stage easter egg that called back to the album package.
