Bright visuals that compliment modern sounds.

When asked if I’d like to design an album package for Grammy award winning artist Sheryl Crow I jumped at the chance. Sheryl is very particular about how she looks in album packaging, so I worked with her manager and the producer of the show as well as a renowned music industry photo retoucher to create this package.

I also aligned with and directed the photographer and editing crew on what kind of imagery to capture to help make not only the album package look fantastic but also how the video could change from black and white to color as Sheryl takes the stage. Sure, this effect has been used in the Wizard of Oz, but in this instance it really helped to paint the image of a legendary artist changing with the times and playing some of today’s most well known hits.
