Grounded With The Goo Goo Dolls Immersive Virtual Rock Show.

Delivering on the need for at-home entertainment during the pandemic, the team at Rock Fuel and FanTracks wanted to take advantage of live streaming virtual concerts as a PPV event. We put together a team of 3D animators who specialize in Unreal Engine technology. We created a studio environment where various backgrounds and virtual stage sets could be inplemented within a live show.

The immersive virtual concert was filmed over two days and delivered a completely live performance and full-scale production featuring hits from across the GGD catalog, giving fans a multi-camera viewing experience and the ability to visit a virtual merch booth and purchase meet & greet and VIP packages for the show. It was then transposed into a CD/DVD package and distributed via Cleopatra Records.
